The brief
KINETIC is a neo-banking and asset management platform built for digital natives. It brings multi-currency accounts (dollar, euro, pound and Swiss franc), stocks and ETFs, and decentralised assets (Bitcoin, Ethereum and Solana) into a single app.
Traditional banks keep the account, the brokerage and the crypto wallet apart, take days to settle and hide their exchange fees. KINETIC treats money as a real-time flow, in a dark, fast, noise-free interface: electric green on obsidian, big numbers, transfers with one gesture.

Overview: net worth on one screen
The first screen shows total net liquidity in real time, with the weekly yield and its change, and a carousel of dollar, euro, pound and Swiss franc accounts with one-tap conversion. Four buttons give direct access to the essentials: send, add, swap and intel.
Below are live cards per asset class (stocks and tech, with the main positions and an animated chart; Bitcoin and multi-chain, with the satoshi balance and the Lightning node status) and a single ledger, where payments, crypto purchases and peer-to-peer transfers appear in order.

Stocks and markets
The stock market with the telemetry of a professional desk: the real-time feed status for NASDAQ and NYSE with a latency indicator, a performance chart over several timeframes (1D, 1W, 1M, 1Y and ALL) and a market sentiment gauge, from fear to extreme greed.
The holdings table shows shares, average cost and live gain or loss. Two movement hubs highlight stocks that are on fire, with one-tap buying, and those that have dropped into a correction zone, with a DIP BUY action. Auto-stash invests the spare change, in fractions, into a basket of stocks of your choice.

Crypto and Bitcoin
Bitcoin gets its own spotlight: live price, the change over the last 24 hours, a node verification badge and the projection towards the all-time high, with buttons to buy, sell and stake.
The network panel shows the fee rate (sat/vB), the global hashrate and a switch for the Lightning network, with fee-free, near-instant transfers. Next come the multi-chain vault (Bitcoin, Ethereum and Solana), a 24-hour radar with the biggest gainers and pullbacks, and the health of the custody, with a multi-signature backup.

Send and pay
A three-way switcher flips in seconds between a currency transfer, an on-chain crypto transfer and a payment between KINETIC users. Frequent contacts show up as avatars with a verified tick and a handle.
The amount is typed on a big dial, with the Bitcoin counter-value and the fee estimate beside it. The destination accepts a KINETIC tag, an ENS or wallet address, or an IBAN, with a QR scanner. Speed is chosen between instant sending and the standard batch of one to two days, and the transfer is confirmed with a biometric-protected slide gesture, so nothing is sent by mistake.

Settings and security
The titanium virtual card is interactive: it shows the CVV on request, freezes with a switch and carries the cardholder details. The security vault brings together biometric authentication for higher-value moves, hardware passkey sync and multi-signature protection (two of three signatures) on outbound transfers above a limit.
A slider sets the daily outbound limit. Preferences choose the base currency (dollar, euro, pound or Bitcoin), the interface accent colour (green, cyan or violet) and the KINETIC intelligence alerts (large wallet liquidations and volatility). The connection manager lists and disconnects phones and external wallets.

Concierge: private support
Each client has an assigned private lead, with an availability indicator, in an end-to-end encrypted conversation with on-chain transaction verification. Pending transactions show up as interactive cards, with the block confirmation.
From here you also choose the delivery of the physical titanium card (standard courier or same-day), and there are AI shortcuts to check a transfer’s status, freeze the card or read the fee breakdown.
Obsidian and electric green
The visual system is dark by default: obsidian surfaces with frosted-glass plates, an electric green for action and gains, cyan for the live network and violet for Web3. Numbers use Space Grotesk with tabular figures, so they do not wobble when prices change, and the text uses Plus Jakarta Sans. Buttons and labels are pills, and cards have 20 to 24 px corners.

Behind the screen

What we did
We designed and built the app end to end: the Obsidian Kinetic UX/UI and design system, the mobile app, the real-time data and the infrastructure behind it, with art direction from the visual identity.

Sending is closed with a slide gesture protected by biometrics, so there are no transfers by mistake. Above a limit a multi-signature protection is also required, and there is a security vault with hardware keys and a daily outflow limit.
